I have been a veterinarian since 2017 after graduating from Oregon State University, working with cats and dogs. Recently I became board certified in canine and feline practice through the Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP). The ABVP certifies veterinary practitioners with exceptional knowledge, skill, and competency in the care of the total patient, and are certified in clinical practice for the species in which certification is granted. An ABVP board-certified veterinarian has demonstrated they are capable of providing a level of clinical practice that is clearly superior to the norm of the profession.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Telemedicine has important limits. Due to Oregon's (the state I practice in) veterinary-client-patient relationship (VCPR) laws, I am able to offer advice, discuss next steps, discuss medication doses/changes, and interpret clinical findings, but I may not be able to diagnose, or prescribe medication unless a valid VCPR is already established (aka I have done an exam in person).
