About Vet

My name is Tippy Adams and I have been an emergency veterinarian for 9 years. I grew up with all different animals from dogs to horses to goats and chickens, at a young age I knew I wanted to be a veterinarian. After completing school at Mississippi State University, I immediately went into emergency and critical care work and have never looked back. On the side I still will do relief for general practices but my heart is in the rush of the ER.

In my spare time I love spending time with my 3 dogs, cat, and two horses. I enjoy exploring the city of New Orleans where I live and anything that involves the outdoors.

Extremely sweet & helpful!! I truly felt like her best interests were in my dog Dixie. She’s been struggling with skin issues & after explaining the whole story Dr. Tippy made me feel less crazy with another culprit besides fleas. I never once felt like I was annoying her with questions or explaining the situation…. She actually took the time to share some personal stories of her dogs which I loved! Overall great experience. 10/10 recommend!
