Dr. Talia Gattenuo

Hello. I am a Veterinarian with a primary focus in exotic animal medicine. I am proficient in treating dogs, cats, small mammals (rabbits, hamsters, hedgehogs, guinea pigs, etc), birds, reptiles, amphibians, and poultry. I have a moderate level of experience with fish and wildlife. I am open to working with most species expcept for large animal species and horses I have had a passion for animal rights and welfare since I was a child and my passion has only grown over the years. I am available to answer husbandry questions even before acquiring that exotic pet you have wanted for years. I enjoy working with clients and their animals to increase the human animal bond. I am an Elite Fear Free Certified Practitioner and Avian Fear Free Certified, and am here to also help with those stressful behavioral issues. I am a Reiki Practitioner for Animals and am open to discuss alternative types of medicine. I am also very passionate about quality of life and end of life care. Whether that is discussing options like when to know it is time or going through a difficult diagnosis with you and the family.
