About Vet

Hello! I am so happy you have considered me for your pet's care! I am a born and raised Floridian, but moved to Virginia in 2024 (I have maintained my licenses in both states). I have been practicing veterinary medicine for over 18 years - for the first 17 years I worked with only dogs and cats. When we moved to Virginia I was looking to expand my knowledge and experience so I started practicing at a local wildlife rehabilitation center with all kinds of critters (my favorite baby beaver is included in my profile photo)!

Throughout my career, I realized one of my biggest joys is client education. I'm passionate about ensuring you fully understand what is going on with your pet so you feel comfortable making the best decisions for their care. I love the Vetster platform because I'm able to have a focused one-on-one conversation without the distractions of a busy hospital, which also helps you and your pet feel less stressed during our time together.

Please note - Telemedicine is currently regulated on a state level. Each state has their own regulations about whether or not a VCPR can be established via telemedicine, and whether or not the veterinarian can prescribe medications. I can prescribe medications to patients in VA and FL in most cases, however there are limitations imposed by the state boards. If I am not licensed in your state, I cannot prescribe any medications to your pet, however I am happy to consult with you about your pet, any medical concerns you may have, and help advise you on the next best steps.
