Hi, I’m Dr. Shane Richardson! I’m a veterinarian passionate about helping pets live longer, happier, and healthier lives through compassionate, practical, and evidence-based care.

I graduated summa cum laude from Utah State University before earning my DVM degree through Washington State University. My professional interests include preventive medicine, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, and helping pet owners understand their pet’s health so they can make confident decisions.

I strive to make every interaction supportive and low-stress. Whether you have questions about a new puppy or kitten, nutrition, behavior, chronic conditions, or you’re wondering if your pet needs urgent care, I’m here to provide clear guidance tailored to your family.

When I’m not practicing veterinary medicine, you’ll usually find me enjoying Utah’s outdoors with my wife, our four children, and our three pet rats!
