Hi there! I’m Savannah Hughes, a registered veterinary nurse with nearly a decade of experience in small animal medicine. Since 2016, I’ve worked in a high-volume specialty and emergency hospital, where I’ve served in roles ranging from ICU nurse to nursing supervisor. My background includes intensive care, emergency, internal medicine, surgery, and client education — all areas where I strive to provide clear, compassionate support to both pets and their people.
I understand how overwhelming it can be when your pet isn’t feeling well, and I’m here to help you navigate those moments with confidence. Whether you have questions about medications, recovery, behavior changes, or when to seek emergency care, I’m here to offer guidance rooted in real experience and empathy.
Outside of veterinary medicine, I enjoy mentoring fellow nurses, creating helpful tools for pet families, and spending time with my little family and our own furry companions.
