I have been in mixed animal general practice for 3 years and have confidence treating small, large, and exotic animals for routine, sick, and emergency care. I have extensive experience in animal behavior, having completed an intensive dog training and behavior certification course. I have written a textbook in the field of veterinary behavior and published other chapters in additional books. I have also edited veterinary reference books.

I have a dog and two cats as well as a flock of chickens at home. In my free time, I enjoy dog training, hiking, and camping.
