Roy Johnson DVM
I graduated from the University of Illinois in 1982 and began in a mixed animal practice in Arizona. I then moved to Albuquerque, where I continued mixed practice as owner/operator for 7 years. When this practice was sold, I transitioned to emergency small animal medicine and surgery. I’ve remained in small animal medicine ever since. I’ve practiced in Idaho for a total of 10 years. With the COVID pandemic, I transitioned once again to virtual veterinary medicine. My interest is in providing expert medical advice and second opinions to dog and cat owners everywhere. My focus is internal medicine of dogs and cats. I have a rat-terrier/schnauzer/poodle rescue named “Winnie” and a kitty named “Remy”, both of whom assist me with my virtual consulting. My wife Barbara and I have been married for 26 years.
