About Vet

Hello! I have worked in small animal general practice since graduating from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Prior to that, I served for 2 years in the U.S. Peace Corps in Belize and worked in histology laboratories for 7 years. I am drawn to the power of the human-animal bond and am fulfilled by my role as a veterinarian. I enjoy seeing both healthy and sick visits, emergencies, performing surgeries and discussing end of life care/concerns. In my free time, I love to hike with and teach tricks to my English Shepherd, Faye and we follow it up with snuggling with our cats, Stewart and Pawpaw.

It’s nice to talk to someone initially to get suggestions before going to my local vet where they might run way too many tests and I might rack up a huge bill. Dr Bartle made a few great suggestions and I’ll start there. Thank you!

Dr Battle was really helpful in processing how to help my little dog when all the ER bets in my area have a 6-8 wait time. We came up with a plan that I feel really good about. She was concerned. she listened well, and is very personable. I would definitely call her again if needed.

I was very anxious about my dog’s inflamed paw. The vet offices near me are usually extremely busy with long waiting times and my dog shakes the entire time. Dr. Bartle was very nice and let me know about a few things I could do to try to treat it. She also reassured me that it would be fine to wait a couple of days to see if the inflammation gets better before taking my dog to the vet.
