About Vet

I can't wait to help you and your pet! I am passionate about helping pets and the people that love them. The state of North Carolina does not allow telemedicine so I am unable to provide treatment or prescribe any medications through this platform. But I can do SO MUCH else for you including in depth general health and wellness advice, discussion of illness symptoms and helping you make a plan for a vet visit and things to help until then, in addition to chronic disease discussion.

I love my patients like they are my own pets! I have worked in small animal veterinary medicine for over a decade and have particular interests in nutrition, behavior, and senior pet wellness and chronic condition management (arthritis, heart disease, kidney disease, etc). I also enjoy helping owners and their cats with stress management and urinary issues. And my ultimate passion is helping pets and their people through end of life care decisions.

This was my first time using Vetster and am so glad we tried it. Dr Box was not only very knowledgeable about cats (we don’t have access to vets nearby that are) but she was also very gracious with her time and was able to observe our elderly cat and give us great advice.
