Hi! I am Melinda. I have been practicing some form of veterinary medicine for 28 years. I can help you with your dog, cat and horse questions! I, myself, have 12 dogs, 3 cats, 3 horses and 1 donkey. I used to show horses, but now I just like to watch them and love on them! Maybe the occasional trail ride…… I love all dogs, but I really love little dogs. The tinier and feistier the better 😊 I have worked on horses only, cows, dogs, cats, developed drugs for animals, run clinical trials for companies, worked on the occasional wild bird, racoon and opossum, a camel, an orx…….If it needs help, I will probably try! Lately, I have a mission to help all the stray dogs and cats around me. I live in a very poor rural part of Mississippi, and it is begging for help. Dr. Poole was super nice and detailed. She helped us decide to go ahead and take our cat to the emergency vet to be checked out. I liked that she knows the area well and recommended emergency care that is less crowded. She was a good bridge to help us decide to bring him and to explain what may be happening.
