Remote sessions include a review of medical history, our Vetster meeting, and a holistic guidance report that will be provided after the session. I also offer hospice/palliative guidance and end-of-life counseling, including quality of life assessment to help pet parents navigate these difficult times. Through a combination of holistic modalities, my goal is to educate and empower pet and horse owners in playing an active role in the health and wellness of their pet or horse. I have advanced certifications in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) including Acupuncture (CVA), Food Therapy (CVFT), and Tui-na (CVTP) from the Chi University. I am also certified in Veterinary Spinal Manipulation (CVSMT) from the Healing Oasis Wellness Center. During a guidance session, Dr. Theisen will discuss your pet or horse's current health issues with you and may make general Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine herbal & food therapy and/or homeopathy recommendations as well as recommend specialized testing with your primary care veterinarian, if applicable. Dr. Theisen is not replacing your primary care veterinarian. All information is theoretical in nature and should be discussed with your primary care veterinarian before implementing. *IF YOU PREFER 1 HOUR FOR YOUR SESSION, PLEASE BOOK TWO 30 MINUTE SESSIONS BACK TO BACK (recommended for new clients and current patients with extensive issues and/or multiple pets). To make the most of our meeting time, please submit your pet or horse’s medical records for review at least 24 hours prior to our meeting.
