About Vet

Small Animal Integrative Veterinarian | Emergency & Urgent Care

I am a small animal integrative veterinarian based in Oregon, certified in Veterinary Acupuncture and Rehabilitation/Physical Medicine. Over the past decade, I have worked extensively in emergency and urgent care medicine, giving me the experience to help pet owners navigate stressful situations with clarity and confidence. I believe veterinary medicine should feel human and approachable — a partnership where we search for answers together.

Finances can often be a barrier to veterinary care. I encourage all pet parents to explore pet insurance, as it can ease stress during urgent situations and help ensure pets receive the medical care they deserve.

My approach combines both traditional and integrative medicine to provide well-rounded care for dogs and cats at every stage of life. I regularly support clients with:

Emergency & Urgent Care: Tele-triage to help determine if your pet needs immediate ER care or can safely wait for follow-up with your family veterinarian.

Senior Medicine: Chronic management consultations for conditions such as vestibular syndrome, arthritis, and mobility concerns.

Rehabilitation & Physical Therapy: Acupuncture, laser therapy, TENS/NMES, underwater treadmill therapy, therapeutic exercise, gua sha/therapeutic massage, and pre- and post-operative recovery plans. I also provide guidance for weight management, nutrition/food therapy, and supplement consultations.

Second Opinions: Telemedicine is an excellent option for an unbiased second opinion, helping you feel reassured and informed when faced with difficult choices.

Preparing for your appointment: To make the most of your consultation, please include your pet’s full medical history, current medications, and supplements (with exact mg of each active ingredient), as well as any recent lab work, bloodwork results, or imaging (such as X-rays or ultrasound reports). The more details you can provide, the more accurate and helpful my recommendations will be.

When NOT to use telemedicine — go directly to the ER if your pet has:

-Difficulty breathing

-Severe trauma or suspected broken bones

-Seizures, collapse, or unresponsiveness

-Heavy or uncontrolled bleeding

-Known or suspected toxin ingestion

-Bloat/distended abdomen in dogs

-Inability to urinate

-Complications with labor/delivery

-Any condition where your pet appears to be rapidly declining

Through Vetster, my goal is to offer clear guidance, compassionate support, and integrative solutions so you feel empowered to make the best decisions for your pet’s health.
