I grew up in Chicago, Illinois, and knew from the age of six that I wanted to help animals and become a veterinarian. I finished my undergraduate double degree in three years and went on to complete my veterinary education at University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign Veterinary College. This was followed by a rotating internship at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston. I, then, proceeded to complete a surgical internship and advance her soft tissue surgical skills with a surgical mentorship. I spent several years working in emergency medicine and performing surgeries both in Colorado and Illinois while traveling the world helping animals. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, snowboarding, live music, and any outdoor activities as well as chilling with my furry kiddos.
