About Vet

Hello! My name is Kaitlin Howard, and I am a LVT in Shelton, Wa. I graduated from Yuba College Veterinary Technology Program in 2014. Prior to graduation, I worked as a veterinary assistant for 3 years. I currently work in emergency and critical care for cats and dogs for the last 4 years. Over my 10 years in veterinary medicine I have worked in a variety of practices, from general practice, spay/neuter/vaccine clinics, shelter medicine, large animal medicine, oncology, emergency and critical care. I am well versed in triaging pets and determining if they should be seen as soon as possible by a veterinarian, or can potentially wait for an appointment. I enjoy educating owners about the different conditions that their pets are experiencing, and believe that every question is valid.
