About Vet

Dr. Corbett grew up in Miami, Florida, and then traded in her sunbrellas for umbrellas when she traveled to the Pacific Northwest for school. She received her bachelor's degree in Biology from Reed College and then obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Oregon State University. She completed a rigorous internship in emergency and critical care at a large specialty hospital and has been practicing primarily emergency medicine since. She has experience working with zoos, wildlife rehab, and animal shelters as well. Her professional interests include pre-hospital care, wilderness care, polytraumas, toxicology, client education, and preventative medicine.

Outside of work, she loves to laugh and spends time with her family, including two mischievous cats. She loves cooking, vegetable gardening, face painting, summer camping, snorkeling and scuba diving, and traveling.

I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience with Dr. Corbett! From the moment the appointment started, I felt welcomed and at ease. She answered every single one of my questions with patience, clarity, and genuine care- no matter how small or silly my questions might have seemed. Dr. Corbett's professionalism was top-notch, and yet she had such a warm, approachable demeanor that made it easy to open up about all my concerns. Dr Julie Corbett is an attentive and thoughtful veterinarian who is also very knowledgeable. She took a detailed history and asked pertinent questions about my dog’s health issue. She detailed our diagnostic and treatment options then helped me decide what would work best for my dog and our lifestyle. She is wonderful to work with and I will definitely consult her again for my pets’ health concerns.
