About Vet

I am a FL native who was born in Dunedin and grew up in Clearwater. I attended the University of South Florida for my bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences and physics, the University of Florida for my master’s degree in veterinary shelter and forensic medicine, as well as a certificate in public health, and Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine for my DVM degree (War Eagle!). My passion for veterinary medicine stemmed from my passion for free-ranging wildlife and conservation. I have a strong background in exotic companion animal and wildlife medicine and rehabilitation. I completed a portion of my professional training at zoological facilities and have worked with a wide array of animals. I also have experience as a Florida wildlife rehabber and am a Certified Wildlife Rehabber (CWR) through the International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council (IWRC). Most recently, I have worked at a veterinary hospital that treats dogs, cats, small ruminants, and exotic animals / pocket pets. Appointment types include both emergency, sick, and wellness visits. I am also bilingual and speak both English and Spanish (native speaker) fluently. I am happy to see any species in need of veterinary care—so bring me all your furry, feathered, scaled, or hooved patients!
