Hi, I’m Dr. Jessica Dirling!

I’m a veterinarian with 16+ years of experience caring for dogs and cats, and one of the things I love most about veterinary medicine is helping people understand their pets’ health and feel confident about what to do next. I’m a big believer in listening first. Tell me what you’re seeing, what’s worrying you, and what you’ve already tried. We'll work through the details together, talk through what might be going on, and come up with a practical plan that makes sense for you and your pet.

Sometimes that means discussing what you can do at home and what signs to watch for. Sometimes it means helping you decide whether you pet needs to be seen in person. And sometimes it means simply taking the time to explain what a condition, diagnostic test, or treatment process my look like so you know what to expect.

I also believe there is no prize for making pet owners feel guilty. Life with pets can be messy, and every family has different circumstances. From me, you'll get honest recommendations, clear explanations, and a judgment free conversation.

I’ve spent my career building relationships with both pets and their people, from starting and running my own small animal practice to mentoring veterinary students and new veterinarians. I love teaching, problem solving, and helping people feel more confident when it comes to caring for their animals.

Outside of work, I love exploring new places, reading for my book club, and I'm a big fan of rollercoasters. (Cedar Point is the best amusement park out there - prove me wrong.)
