I have been a small animal veterinarian for 29 years, working as an associate and then owning and operating a busy 6-doctor practice in the Philadelphia suburbs, with a focus on pain management and surgery. My special interest is in the identification and treatment of pain - I became a Certified Veterinary Pain Practitioner (CVPP) in 2011, and lecture nationally to veterinarians and vet nurses on techniques of identifying pain, and also the use of laser therapy and other non-pharma tools for the treatment of pain. I serve as immediate past-president of the IVAPM.
Happily, I am now settled in beautiful AZ, with my husband and two rescue dogs (ask me about them!). A little of me must have rubbed off on our daughters, as one is an ER/ICU credentialed veterinary nurse, and the younger is a marine biologist.
Telemedicine fills a great void in veterinary medicine - my goal is to help you through any emergent concern, and work together to determine the best course of action for you and your beloved pet.
