33 years of experience in small animal medicine, surgery and dentistry. Graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. Dedicated to always providing the best care for your furry family member. IMPORTANT: Veterinary practice acts are state specific and regulate what can qualify as a veterinarian-client-patient relationship (VCPR). A VCPR is REQUIRED in order to prescribe medications legally. Currently, VERY FEW states allow for a virtual visit to qualify as a VCPR in order to prescribe medication..The state that I am licensed in (California) does not allow legal prescribing of medications without an in-person physical exam. I cannot prescribe medications for your pet unless I have examined them in-person within the last 12 months.
