About Vet

With over 28 years in the veterinary field, 21 of them as a veterinarian in Southern California, I've been working with clients & their beloved dogs & cats for decades.

I am fanatical about felines & delighted by dogs. Though known to laugh with clients to keep minor things light-hearted, I'm serious about medicine & will be honest about your pet's condition.

With a tailored plan for EACH of my patients & their family circumstances, I strive to do everything I can to improve their health. I choose treatments that actually work for the whole household & truly help the owners who love them improve their health.

I like communicating to learn about your pet's health, so we can discuss the causes for problems & courses of diseases and give you options for therapies. I enjoy assisting Californians in getting all the best out of their pet's healthcare.

I received advanced training in Emergency Medicine during a Veterinary Small Animal Medical Internship. Since then I've been a General Practitioner (like your daytime vet) in large group practices, smaller hospitals & also solo. I've focused on every type of problem from critical cases to simple infections.

I have a particular interest in recurrent allergies, infectious diseases, hospice, neurology & behavior, pain management, internal medicine (such as urinary and kidney disease) & dermatology (skin and ears).

My hobbies include classic cars, planted nano aquariums, antiques, film & pinball! I have 2 cats, 1 betta fish & countless shrimp & snails. Favorite Show: My Cat From Hell

Dr.Willams was very nice. Asked lots of questions and gave lots of good information and tips to help treat my puppy's anxiety without going onto a life long medication just yet. Im hopeful we can get her on a better track toward independence without unnecessary drugs

My first experience with Vetster and I’m so glad I did it. I had been trying to holistically help my dogs with their itchiness. Dr Jayne Williams was extremely insightful. She was caring and empathetic. Gave us a great course of action to help relieve our furbabies discomfort.
