About the Doctor: Dr. Jaime Presley grew up in South Orange County, where her love for animals was evident to her parents early on. From a very young age (before she even realized what she wanted to be when she “grew up”), her mother encouraged her to become a veterinarian because she could see how she cared for animals. She graduated at the top of her high school class and went on to earn her undergraduate degree in Molecular, Cellular, & Developmental Biology from Yale University in 2001. She received her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at North Carolina State University (ranked 3rd in the country) in 2005.
While she has been treating dogs and cats for over 15 years (with experience in both general practice and emergency hospitals), she now specializes in end of life care. She is the founder of Tender Paws, providing in-home euthanasia services to families across North San Diego County. Should you find yourself faced with this most difficult decision, know that you can trust Dr. Presley to help you navigate your way through this process.
