About Vet

Dr. Andrews knew she wanted to be a veterinarian from the age of 5 when she stated it at her kindergarten graduation. Even from a young age she was very determined and set out on her journey to become a DVM. She received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She then went on to graduate from Ross University where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. Her professional interests include Internal Medicine, Dermatology, shelter medicine, exotic care, hospice and rehabilitation. Dr. Andrews shares a home with her Pitbull Max, a feisty Westie named Brady, and an 8 lb terrier mix named Logan. Typically there will be a senior pet or two that needs care and a home. Senior pets have a special place in her heart and she will open her home when one is in need. 🐾

Dr. Andrews reassured us we were doing all the right things and just encouraged us to get a antibiotic shot for Winston which we will do. She also helped us figure out how to better sooth our dog's paw and kill the yeast infection he has.

What a great way to get some help for our puppy with a uti when we couldn't been seen by our vet. Shelistened to our observations and concerns and gave us her professional assistance. We will definitely recommend her and Vetster to our family and friends with furbabies.
