Dr. Hayley Harrison

I have wanted to be a veterinarian since I rode horses as a small child. I had a horse, Encore, with laminitis and working along side our equine veterinarian to bring him relief sparked my interest in the field. Later, as a teenager, the Yorkshire terrier puppy I received as a birthday gift developed pneumonia and working with her veterinarian to make her well again sent me googling the best veterinary schools in the country.

I ended up at the University of Florida and graduated with my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. After graduation and ever since I’ve worked in small/companion animal general practice, primarily with dogs and cats.

I am also a wife and a mother, and owner of a large, goofy labradoodle. I love to do home renovations and redecorate, and recently began a small food garden. I dream of someday having an established food forest in my backyard.
