Dr. Grace Chen is an experienced and passionate veterinarian with 8 years of diverse experience as a veterinarian in specialty, emergency and general small animal practice.

Dr. Chen received her Bachelor’s Degree from McGill University with a Major in Biochemistry. Grace then completed her Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Queensland School of Veterinary Science in Australia. She pursued further training by completing a one-year small animal medicine and surgery internship at The BluePearl Specialty and Emergency Pet Hospital in New York City, followed by a one-year surgical specialty internship at the Las Vegas Veterinary Specialty Center in Las Vegas. Dr. Chen also practiced Emergency Medicine and worked in several animal hospitals in New York City prior to moving to sunny Southern California.

Grace was born in Boston, Massachusetts and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Her professional interests include surgery and preventative medicine. She currently lives in Los Angelas with her English Bulldog and two desert tortoises. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Chen enjoys running, practicing yoga, golfing and traveling.

This was our first time doing a virtual visit for my dog, and I am beyond impressed. Dr. Chen was incredibly understanding, patient, and truly listened to every concern I had. She addressed all of my dog’s needs with so much care and explained everything clearly. She was so kind and made the whole experience comfortable and stress-free. She also prescribed the medications she felt would best help address his issues, and I really appreciated how thorough and thoughtful she was. Because of her, we plan to continue all of our vet visits virtually from now on. Thank you, Dr. Chen — we’re so grateful for you! 🐾💕
