About Vet

I’m a full-time small animal general practice veterinarian with 11 years of clinical experience and am a part-owner of the practice where I work. As a busy mom, I understand how challenging it can be to balance life’s demands while ensuring our pets receive the care they need. Telemedicine allows me to continue doing what I love—helping pets and supporting their families—even outside of my clinic hours. I believe that educating pet owners is one of the most important parts of veterinary medicine, and I’m passionate about providing clear, practical guidance so you can make informed decisions for your furry family members. Whether you have questions about your pet’s health, need advice on next steps, or simply want peace of mind, I’m here to help.

International Travel & Health Certificates: I have over 10 years of experience preparing international health certificates and helping pet owners navigate the requirements for international travel. While I cannot issue a health certificate without examining your pet in person, I can help you understand the requirements and prepare the necessary documentation for your pet’s upcoming move or international travel.

I am licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Virginia only. For legal and licensing reasons, I can provide diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and prescriptions only for pets who are physically located in Virginia at the time of the appointment. For residents of other states, I am always more than happy to provide education on certain conditions and how various conditions are generally treated. I can also help triage your pet if you’re not sure how urgently it should be examined.
