I have been in the veterinary field for almost 16 years! I started doing kennel work, taking care of boarding patients in high school. I quickly moved up to an assistant position which allowed me to gain a better understanding of the medical side of the field. Knowing this was my passion, I made the decision to further my career and become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. I attended Blue Ridge Community College's Technician Program and graduated in 2012. I have been working as a Licensed Veterinary Technician ever since. My special interests are surgery, anesthesia, analgesia, and emergency medicine. My partner and I currently have a menagerie of 3 dogs and 10 cats (yes, I said 10). There is never a dull moment in our household, and I love every minute of it!
