I'm Dr. Sarah Brandon and I graduated with my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University in 2002. My commitment to advancing veterinary care led me to pursue post-graduate studies at Chi University, focusing on Traditional Chinese Medical Therapy. I expanded my educational studies via the Pitcairn Institute of Veterinary Homeopathy and the Veterinary Medical Aromatherapy Association.

Throughout my career, I've been dedicated to providing exceptional care to our feline companions. As the Medical Director for several years at Cats Exclusive Veterinary Center near Seattle, WA, I honed my expertise in feline medicine and pet parent communication. It was during this time that my professional interests merged with my personal passion for herbal medicine, sparking a journey of exploration into diverse modalities such as Chinese, Ayurvedic, and Indigenous People's herbal medicines. I also delved into essential oil and homeopathic treatments, behavioral and nutritional counseling, and various massage and energetic therapies.

Driven by a desire to bridge gaps in pet healthcare, I founded Canna Companion, a pioneering pet CBD company. Through consultation services, I connected with pet parents and veterinarians nationwide, expanding my services to all pets - dogs, cats, horses, parrots, reptiles and barn friends - and identifying significantly unmet needs in the field.

Armed with invaluable insights and extensive experience, I established Black Mountain Veterinary Services to provide pets with a centralized hub for personalized, holistic healthcare. With over 30 years of veterinary professional experience and ongoing studies into natural therapies, I'm dedicated to delivering comprehensive, tailored care to every furry, feathered or scaled friend that walks through our virtual doors.
