Imagine that you know your dog is ill and being told you need to wait 3 days for an appointment. Suspecting my goldendoodle was seriously "off," I dialed up with Dr. Pages. She was wonderful even with giving us what she suspected was horrible news. We took her advice and immediately ran our dog to the ER. Unfortunately, it was something we could not have foreseen and couldn't help him with. He died peacefully at the hospital with us surrounding him. A heartbreaking story? Yes. But I can sleep better knowing that I took every step I could before making that ultimate decision. Thank you Dr Pakes for being there when my regular vet could not.
