About Vet

I am an experienced veterinarian who has worked in small animal practice for 18 years. I was raised in New Jersey and obtained my BSc from Delaware Valley University in 2004. I then went on to graduate from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. I have worked with several rescue organizations, shelters and zoos. I also work regular emergency shifts at my local animal ER hospitals. I enjoy seeing exotic pets, internal medicine, surgery, and dentistry. In my spare time I enjoy competitive horse jumping, travel and yoga. I own two dogs (Jiggles the English Bulldog and Sprinkles the Pomeranian mix), one cat (Nala), one horse (Pandora), and an axolotl (Bubbles). I strive to treat every patient as my own and am often found working at my desk with a furry friend on my lap.

Wish I had known that in Florida they can’t prescribe meds for guinea pigs

Dr. Nicklin was very friendly and showed genuine concern for my dog. She asked some questions, checked out my dog’s gum color, and ultimately prescribed antibiotics, while recommending an in person visit if other issues arise. Thank you, Dr. Nicklin!

I felt like she was good and informative but I didn’t appreciate/understand all the added items prescribed to buy when I reviewed my dogs RX’s post the visit that was not necessary totally near $300. Seems like it was about affiliation perks potentially versus my dog truly needing the items.

Appointment was easy, and quick, vet was super nice. Got straight to the point got me what I needed and done. So much better than trying to take my super anxious dog in the car to the vet in person!
