About Vet: I graduated from one of the top vet schools in Brazil. Subsequently, completed a master of sciences program in cardiopulmonary physiology and then embarked on a career as a scientist at Michigan State University and the University of Pittsburgh. My area of research was emergency and critical care medicine. I several years of clinical experience in small animal medicine and surgery in the United States. I love animals (dogs in particular) and show/breed Irish Setters. I work predominantly as an Emergency Veterinarian as I enjoy dealing with more complicated cases.
