Dr. Ashly Smith

Dr. Smith was born in Colorado but has lived in Northern Virginia for most of her life. Growing up, she always found science to be fascinating and knew that with her love for animals, being a veterinarian was her calling.

Dr. Smith enjoys all of the fields of veterinary medicine and loves working full time in general practice because of the gamut of cases that fills her day. From giving routine vaccines, diagnosing endocrine diseases, performing extractions and soft tissue surgery to interpreting lab work... she loves it all! The days are never the same and the challenge and commitment to pets is what keeps her going! During the pandemic and the increase for virtual health care, she is eager to reach more families and assist with their pets. She hopes to provide quality medicine to everyone virtually and in hopes to keep pets healthy and safe!

In her free time, she focuses on her family - she has three children, two cats, one dog and one fish! She enjoys trying new restaurants and recipes and loves watching crime shows and documentaries.
