Call me Dr. HJ! I was born and raised in Maryland and graduated from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019 where I received dual degrees: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Master of Public Health with a concentration in infectious disease. I've worked as a small animal veterinary associate locally, with additional end of life care/ home euthanasia services provided
Veterinary interests include dentistry, end of life care, ultrasonography, practicing integrative approach to medicine, exotic animal medicine, surgery, animal behavior. I incorporate many fear free techniques and strategies into my practice of medicine to keep patients as calm and stress-free as possible during the consultation. I share my home with an array of animals: an American Staffordshire bull terrier, a pit mix terrier, a cat, a snake, and a chinchilla
