Dr. Ashley Harrison-Jackson

-I often go by Dr. HJ, was born and raised in Maryland I received my bachelors in Animal Sciences at North Carolina State University with a minor concentration in French in 2015 and graduated from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019 where I received dual degrees: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Master of Public Health with a concentration in infectious disease -Recently, I've worked as a small animal veterinary associate locally, with additional end of life care/ home euthanasia services provided

-veterinary interests include dentistry, end of life care, ultrasonography, practicing integrative approach to medicine, exotic animal medicine, surgery, animal behavior, and I incorporate many fear free techniques and strategies into my practice of medicine to keep patients as calm and stress-free as possible during the consultation. -Hobbies outside of work include traveling, gardening, listening to audiobooks, camping, hosting events for friends and family, and watching horror movies. -i share my home with an array of animals: an American Staffordshire bull terrier, a pit mix terrier, a cat, a snake, and a chinchilla
