Dr. Amit Lancet – Veterinarian

Dr. Lancet graduated from Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999 and has been practicing in California ever since. His path to veterinary medicine began years earlier, after reading All Creatures Great and Small by James Herriot—an experience that inspired in him a lifelong commitment to animal care.

Dr. Lancet practices in both Israel and the United States (California), bringing broad experience in internal medicine and surgery for dogs and cats. He finds deep comfort in his work and in being around the animals he treats, and he is dedicated to delivering thoughtful, compassionate care.

He regularly attends continuing-education courses to stay current with the latest advances in veterinary medicine, and he especially enjoys solving complex medical issues that his patients may face.

As part of expanding his ability to help pets and their families, Dr. Lancet now offers virtual consultations. While he will always miss the wagging tails and the soft meows at the end of an in-person exam, he is excited to provide support and guidance wherever pet owners may need him.

Outside of work, Dr. Lancet enjoys hiking and taking his daughter fishing—moments that help him recharge and stay connected to nature.

Dr. Lancet was incredibly attentive and open to all of our questions and concerns regarding our dog’s health. He was quick to notice symptoms in our dog that we were not aware of yet and made sure to follow up on how our dog has been progressing after the consult. I definitely recommend Dr. Lancet for any of your pups health concerns!

I scheduled an online appointment with dr. Lancet to request some advice for my ten year old cat who is experiencing some issues with vomiting and diarrhea. The appointment was scheduled for early in the morning so that I could request some additional information until my regular vet opened. Dr Lancet was professional, knowledgeable and experienced. He suggested some at home care that I could do for my cat until my regular bed opens or recommended that I take her to an emergency vet as soon as possible. We discussed several different possibilities for her health condition and he recommended that she be seen at my regular vet today. It would definitely recommend Dr Lancet if you're planning to schedule an online appointment with Vetster. He's located in California and reminded me to follow up with him after the cat was seen by my vet and is available for up to 3 days after my appointment with him today.
