Dr. Amit Lancet – Veterinarian

Dr. Lancet graduated from Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999 and has been practicing in California ever since. His path to veterinary medicine began years earlier, after reading All Creatures Great and Small by James Herriot—an experience that inspired in him a lifelong commitment to animal care.

Dr. Lancet practices in both Israel and the United States (California), bringing broad experience in internal medicine and surgery for dogs and cats. He finds deep comfort in his work and in being around the animals he treats, and he is dedicated to delivering thoughtful, compassionate care.

He regularly attends continuing-education courses to stay current with the latest advances in veterinary medicine, and he especially enjoys solving complex medical issues that his patients may face.

As part of expanding his ability to help pets and their families, Dr. Lancet now offers virtual consultations. While he will always miss the wagging tails and the soft meows at the end of an in-person exam, he is excited to provide support and guidance wherever pet owners may need him.

Outside of work, Dr. Lancet enjoys hiking and taking his daughter fishing—moments that help him recharge and stay connected to nature.

This was our first vet visit with Lancet, and we could not have been more pleased. After listening carefully to everything our older dog was going through, and asking us to show how specific things looked on camera, he was able to give us a great assessment and prescribe medications to help with the symptoms he was having. Overall a great experience!

Dr. Vincent was fantastic! He took the time to ask detailed questions and really understand Jack’s situation before recommending a treatment plan. I appreciated that his focus was on helping Jack feel better while avoiding unnecessary risks. He also suggested working with a trainer to help with Jack’s separation anxiety and asked me to follow up in a few weeks so we can monitor his progress and make adjustments if needed.
