About Vet

I'm Albert, an Atlanta-based Veterinarian passionate about educating pet owners about their animal companions. Over three decades of medical experience, I have worked across several different Georgia animal hospitals, with interest in soft tissue, orthopedic surgery, radiology, dermatology, and various types of internal medicine cases. I have learned that one of the most essential skills to have is being able to empathize with my clients and patients. Over time, I have developed a keen ability to connect with animals, understand their needs, and help prevent or ease their injury or pain. I believe that educating my clients is the single most effective tool in ensuring the health and well-being of their pets. Only through understanding can we truly empower ourselves for a longevous journey with our animal companions.

I hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee University, a Doctorate in Ministry from Dayspring Theological Seminary,, and a BSc in Animal Science from Tennessee State University.

This doctor was fantastic! Any questions I had he was patient and listening and answering them! My newly adopted two year-old Dutch Shepherd has severe anxiety, especially with little people and thunderstorms and really anything that is away from his new mama who he imprinted on from day one. He gave me a lot of helpful advice and medications that will help my baby long-term and for situations in the short term! He also guided me on the best diet options and sent me a lot of helpful information to further help my boy that I can use moving forward. Thank you, Dr. Albert Byas! 😎
