Dr. Tara Beach

Dr. Beach is happy to discuss any topic related to your pet or livestock. Whether it’s regarding livestock management, vaccine protocols, basic care, puppy training, parasites, or itchy dogs, there are no silly questions! Dr. Beach is a specialist in preventive medicine and wellness care and has held diplomacy in the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine since 2019. She graduated from veterinary school at UC Davis in 2016, completed a residency in 2020, and has worked in small animal, large animal, disaster response, and reproductive practice. Her patients have ranged from newborn kittens to bucking bulls and everything in between!

At home she has two labradors (8 and 2 yo) and two cats (16 and 2yo) who keep her busy and entertained! She and her family love to travel, hike, run, and try new restaurants.

Depending on your location and concern, Dr. Beach can provide full-service telemedicine including prescriptions. In other cases, your appointment may involve discussing your pet’s issues or other concerns you may have, as well as potential causes, treatments, prognosis, and what to expect in the future.

Consulting on disaster preparedness/response and pet travel is also available, including evacuation preparation checklists for pets. For pet travel: Dr. Beach can provide guidance on requirements and what to expect but the actual health certificate will need to be done in person with your local veterinarian.
