About Vet

Dr. Freer is a Chicago native who earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology and Spanish from the University of Michigan, and received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. She went on to complete a small animal rotating internship at the Center for Animal Referral and Emergency Services in Langhorne, PA, and has been working in both general practice and emergency practices in the Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley areas since then.

Growing up, Dr. Freer had a passionate love for both animals and science, and always knew that veterinary medicine was the profession for her. She enjoys being able to help families best care for their fur-babies, and her special interests include dentistry, ultrasound, and soft tissue surgery.

Outside of work, Dr. Freer enjoys athletic activities such as rock climbing, skiing, volleyball, and soccer, as well as cooking, live music, and traveling with her husband. She is an avid Chicago and UM sports fan, and currently lives in Bethlehem with her husband and three rescue herding-breed dogs, Cyrus, Maia, and Hermes.
