I chose my Vetster appointment with Dr. Bartlett because her profile indicated that she was open to holistic care and was working toward obtaining her credentials in veterinary herbalism. As a herbalism student myself, I was very interested in having her guidance in treating my senior Terrier mix's itchiness and possible anxiety/depression naturally. PeeWee has always had allergy issues that cause itchiness, but it seemed to become much worse after my husband passed away in February. Dr. Bartlett was able to recommend some herbs that can be applied as a decoction and some that can be mixed into his food. Although not completely healed, I have noticed a marked improvement in his appetite and desire for exercise as well as some decrease in the itching. I will definitely contact her again if the problem continues or something else comes up.
