About Vet

Dr. Jones is a 2013 graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine with a strong focus and ability in small animal internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, dermatology, and dentistry. Dr. Jones mainly works with cats and dogs, but is also adept with reptiles, birds, and pocket pets like hamsters, rabbits, ferries, and chinchillas. He has been in small animal private practice for the past 10 years along with almost 5 years of shelter medicine and several years taking shifts at the local emergency veterinary facility. Dr. Jones has a great bedside manner and tries to keep interactions with clients very casual during consultations and is very easy to talk to. Dr. Jones strives to recommend the best medicine that is available, but also excels at finding the right balance of diagnostics and treatment recommendations for each patient and situation. When Dr. Jones is not working has a passion for botany, horticulture, bonsai, and anything that involves plants and everything that grows. He also loves to "piddle" like his grandfather which involves just wandering around the house and yard until he's inspired to take on another DIY project. Dr. Jones has licensure in Kentucky, Illinois, and Tennessee and is ready to help you and your pet!
