She grew up on the beautiful island territory of Guam, where as a child she first started volunteering at animal shelters and hospitals. This sparked a life-long passion of working with cats and dogs. Dr. Stearns graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She worked in general practice in Massachusetts and Oregon before relocating to the Netherlands. Her professional passions include dermatology (skin and ear problems) , preventative care and client communication.
