I've been practicing veterinary medicine for over 30 years and have enjoyed all of it. I specialize in brachycephalic breeds including French Bulldogs, English & American Bulldogs, and Boxers. I recently sold my practice of 25 years and currently work part time doing emergency and urgent care work. I take great pleasure in helping clients make informed decisions about their pets health. Telemedicine is an avenue that allows me to do this in a very convenient, non-stressful way for both client and patient. My ultimate goal is to help you provide the best quality of life possible for your pet.

Please note that I cannot write a prescription for your pet unless I have physically seen your pet within the last year. Below is a brief overview of the laws regulating prescribed medications in Oregon.

The Veterinary practice act of Oregon, the state where I hold my license, regulates what can qualify as a veterinarian-client-patient relationship (VCPR). A VCPR is required in order to prescribe medications legally in Oregon. Currently, few states allow for a virtual visit to qualify as a VCPR in order to prescribe medication. The state of Oregon does not allow legal prescribing of medications without an in-person physical exam. I cannot prescribe medications for your pet unless I have examined them in-person within the last 12 months.
