About Vet

Kelly Bowman DVM, is primarily a small animal veterinarian, who's career has been focused on emergency and critical care medicine. Dr. Bowman attended the University of Findlay where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in both Biology and Animal Science. She then went on to earn her veterinary degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Bowman completed a one-year small animal rotating medicine and surgery internship.

Dr. Bowman's background will provided unique insight into teletriage, as well as her broad knowledge base of all body systems to serve the community from afar. The most rewarding part of her job is being an advocate for an animal’s well-being and witnessing each unique human-animal bond.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Bowman can be found traveling with her husband or spending time with her family/friends and myriad of pets.

On this platform the hope is to provide owners useful information about their pet's condition (stable vs. urgent vs. critical), offer differential diagnoses, make recommendations for next steps and answer as many questions as possible.

Dr. Bowman did a awesome job in talking with me about my concerns. She was able to give me advice on what to try with different types of foods in the future and how to handle his current issue of throwing up and having diarrhea. She also was able to recommend a supplement to help with diarrhea.
