Dr. Katrina Tavasci is primarily an emergency and critical care veterinarian, certified peaceful euthanasia provider, homeschool educator for my own children and dedicated animal advocate based in Cottonwood, Arizona.
With more than a decade of high-volume ER experience, she has triaged and treated thousands of critical cases. In 2020, Dr. Tavasci co-founded and served as Medical Director of a thriving 24/7 emergency and critical care animal hospital, building it into one of northern Arizona’s most trusted after-hours facilities.
Today, in addition to relief emergency shifts and in-home euthanasia services, she maintains an active veterinary telemedicine practice—offering urgent-care guidance to her local community when she’s not in-hospital, ensuring pets receive expert advice at any hour.
A homeschooling mother and passionate educator, Dr. Tavasci created ERVetMom, an online platform where she translates complex emergency and palliative care topics into clear, actionable insights for pet owners and fellow veterinarians alike.
Her mission is straightforward: reduce animal suffering, empower families with knowledge, and help every pet live—and leave—this world with dignity and grace.
