About Vet

Dr. Jessica A. Robertson obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University Of Illinois College Of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Upon graduation Dr. Robertson, completed a rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the University of Illinois Veterinary Teaching Hospital followed by a specialty internship in Avian, Exotic and Zoological Medicine at the Oklahoma State University Center for Veterinary Health Sciences. Dr. Robertson completed her residency in Zoological Companion Animal Medicine and Surgery at the University Of California Davis School Of Veterinary Medicine. Following residency Dr. Robertson joined the VCA West LA Animal Hospital and became a Diplomat of the American College of Zoological Medicine in 2022. Her clinical interests include – dental disease in small mammals, wound management and emergency care of companion zoological patients.

In her free time Dr. Robertson enjoys reading fiction, listening to true crime podcasts, learning Italian, spending time with her two cats – Oliver and Bagheera and bunny – Cannoli.
