About Vet

Hi! I'm Dr Cawthra. I'm a 2016 graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. I did my 4th year clinical rotations at UC Davis in Northern California, and then lived and worked in California for 3 years before moving back home to Washington State. I currently work as a relief vet, which means I give other doctors time off by traveling to work in clinics that need me. I work mostly in the Seattle area, but I am also licensed in other states and will travel to work. I have experience in general practice, urgent care, emergency and shelter work. I have a passion for surgery. I am currently working on a Master's Degree in Veterinary Forensics, which I hope to use to fight animal cruelty one day!

If I have seen your pet in a clinic that I have been reliefing at over the last 12 months, I can follow up with you about conditions we discussed and provide further prescriptions if needed via telemedicine.

If we have never had an appointment in person before, I am available to provide telehealth recommendations and direct you to an in-person clinic, if needed.
