I’ve been in small animal practice since graduating from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. I have special interests in preventative care, internal medicine, and end-of-life care. With each of my patients, I strive to give them the best care possible and to work together with their owners to provide the best outcome possible.

Dr. Pietschmann was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely schedule an appointment again if needed. She helped calm us and let us know the medical issue was as severe as we thought.

The doctor was nice and friendly. Showed up on time for the appointment. The appointment was short and to the point (only about 15 minutes). I was disappointed our pup would not be prescribed an antibiotic for exhibiting signs of a UTI. The purpose of scheduling the appointment with Vetster was to get our dog an antibiotic and avoid going back to see our usual expensive vet, because we were just there a few weeks ago and spent almost $600 for a routine check up and vaccines. This virtual appointment ended up just being a waste of money for us because basically all the doctor did was recommend we go back and see our usual vet. Nothing was resolved. For anyone who isn't aware: There are websites that offer FREE vet consultations where a vet can answer any questions you may have and refer you to a veterinary office. This wasn't worth $78.
