Aloha! I was born and raised in Hawaii and came to love animals at a young age. I received my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1983 from Colorado State University and have enjoyed small animal practice for the past forty years. I work in Hawaii treating dogs and cats with an emphasis on urgent care triage, general medicine, common illnesses including skin, ear and eye issues, preventative care of kittens and puppies, and geriatrics. I also have a deep interest in helping with hospice care and end-of-life decisions.
My free time is spent with my three rescue cats, “Eddie Jr.,” (the old guy) along with “Mr. Bob,” and “Blossom,” (silly young siblings) and two horses, "Miki" (a 21 yr old Percheron cross) and "JC” (a 5 yr old TB recently off the track).
My clients tell me that I am kind, caring, compassionate, with a calm aura. Also, communication is very important so I try to explain things in an understandable way.
I am looking forward to sharing my many years of experience and knowledge, friendliness and willingness to help your family pet.
