About Vet

I grew up on a small hobby farm in Rochester, New York, where I developed a strong love and passion for taking care of any animal, big or small. I graduated with an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Rochester and obtained my DVM degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine (GO BUCKS!). After graduation, I worked at a small animal general practice in Rochester, NY for several years where I grew into a multitude of specialties. I have a strong foundation in Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Veterinary Behavioral Medicine, and a focus on strengthening the human-animal bond between my patients and their loved ones. When I am not actively tending to patients, I enjoy spending my free time pursuing outdoor activities, such as hiking and kayaking, with my spouse, six dogs, and three cats. My other interests include cooking, baking, physical conditioning, and of course, wrangling my ever-expanding herd of fur babies, including six dogs (Shelby, Sydney, Sophie, Sage, Lucy and Charly), three cats (Stuart, Spock and Daisy), two guinea pigs (Charlie and Archie), a hedgehog (Simon), and whatever foster fur-babies we have at the time.
