About Vet: Hello, nice to meet you! My name is Dr. Carla and I bring 20+ years of experience in veterinary medicine as a general practitioner. I am a compassionate and caring, life long animal lover. I have 3 pets of my own, 2 kitties King Arthur & Merlin and 1 little pooch named Munchie. All are rescues which I am passionate about. I am also passionate about Preventative care via supplementation, proper nutrition and pet wellness. I love taking care of my patients as well as their pet parents. I focus on staying current in my profession so that I can be as effective as possible as your veterinarian. I also believe that good communication and client education are essential during appointments so that you and I together can make your pets care as successful and positive as possible. As the pet parent, you are your pets first advocate and I want you to feel heard and your pets care to be transparent in our dialogue with each other. When I am not seeing patients online, I am a house call veterinarian as well as a relief veterinarian. On my free time, I like to be outdoors in nature either hugging a tree, kayaking or relaxing at the beach, bird watching and crafting with clay and paint. Very easy to talk to and clearly knowledgeable. Very kind and explained pros and cons of different treatments as well as recommendations perfectly. I was left feeling confident she understood my dogs needs and came up with an excellent treatment plan. I will definitely contact Dr. Pilla in the future when a tele health appointment is needed!
