About Vet

I've been practicing veterinary medicine in Washington state since graduating from Michigan State University in 1991. I've been a proud member of the Sumner Veterinary Hospital team for 15 years. Sumner Veterinary Hospital is a unique provider of a variety of pet services from general practice, which is my focus, to 24-7 urgent and emergency medical care. We also offer pet physical therapy and rehab from injuries or surgery and conditioning programs for weight loss and mobility support. The hospital also provides support for pet parents who need daycare, luxury lodging, or grooming and like to keep those services in the same familiar and trusted facility.

With my telemedicine service I hope to help you manage chronic conditions as well as help you troubleshoot new problems with your pet whether they be medical or behavioral. My special interests are skin and allergy management and maximizing senior pet health. Having two rescue dogs, I am very emphatic to pets who have a fear of the veterinary hospital and work to minimize their anxiety about visits. Telemedicine should be an excellent alternative for some of these pets. With my extensive pool of associates with other interests and skills, I like to think if I can't help with your pet, I will be able to find you someone who can.
